Nick Cave to Globally Stream Performance Film of ‘Idiot Prayer’

Nick Cave’s ‘Idiot Prayer’ streams on July 23.

On July 23, Australian singer-songwriter Nick Cave will stream Idiot Prayer: Nick Cave Alone at Alexandra Palace to a global audience at different times throughout the day. The performance was filmed at Alexandra Palace in June. The always alluring artist will perform solo with  piano in the west hall of the famed London venue. The film will cover a vast array of Cave’s boundless discography. The press release expands “early Bad Seeds and Grinderman, right through to the most recent Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds album, Ghosteen.”

Tickets start at about $20 and are available here. No news as to when the stream will be available to watch elsewhere after July 23rd.
