Detroit’s Black Noi$e Releases Latest Record ‘Oblivion’ along with Visual Experience

The distinctive producer has released a record overflowing with distorted soundscapes and collaborations.

Detroit producer Black Noi$e has released the latest project Oblivion via Earl Sweatshirt’s Tan Cressida record label. It is a tactfully aggressive set of tunes that is equally experimental and indelible. Deftly produced hip-hop but nowhere in the vicinity of bubblegum.

You know Black Noi$e when it hits you. Recurrent over-gained soundscapes enmesh seamlessly with erratic syncopation. Glimmering yet elusive melodies paired with gritty loops.

Oblivion underscores the development of his utterly singular production sound. Collaborations on the record include Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown, bbymutha, Pink Siifu, Cousin Mouth, ZelooperZ, and MIKE.

As everyone is doing in 2020, Black Noi$e has accompanied the record with a visual experience. Animations shadow each tune on the record.
